HIDES GAS - TO-ELECTRICITY LANDOWNERS POSITION PAPER FOR PORGERA MINE REOPENING
Mr. Prime Minister,
Pay attention to this if you are wise, if not it's up to you. We make reference to our earlier post below.
This is the demand from us (Hiwa Tuguba Hides Association Inc), the traditionally recognized genuine Landowners of the Hides Gas-to-Electricity (GTE) Project. Take this not for granted by your Government.
Our demand through the Pogera Reopening Position Paper is a carry-on from our long standing issue, out of the fact that the Department of Petroleum and Energy has failed to sanction us as the legitimate Landowners and rightful beneficiaries to the royalties, equities, infrastructure development grants, high impact project funds and all other MOA benefits due to us.
We are the Dadatagaliwabe sanctioned landowners of the PDL1 wellheads and GTE facilities but our rights have been denied and we have been treated like nobody. We warn that enough is enough.
The Secretary of DPE who is responsible to address our grievances has been knowingly ignoring our plea and illegally facilitating payments to his cronies of fake landowners whom he collaborates with and benefits from. The latest of such payment is a K27million MOA fund illegally paid last year to all his cronies which is now a subject of the National Fraud and Anti-corruption Squad investigation.
So, the biased handpicked individuals from Governor Undialu as recommended by David Manau with their Position Paper presentation in Alotau Development Forum for the reopening of the Pogera Mine is the position of the Hela Provincial Government and the transmission power pylon Landowners only and not ours. Our position paper was lately presented by the leaders of the HTHA Inc to the SNT separately here in Port Moresby which contains our demand.
We warn the DPE Secretary David Manau and Governor Undialu that their collusion to exclude us from the Porgera reopening Development Forum was a grave mistake. It adds fuel to our anger and frustration that has been fuming to date. Our demanded can escalate to a national security issue affecting the two (Porgera and Hides GTE) very important projects of the nation's economy if they continuously underestimate us.
We also demand that Minister Kerenga Kua must assess the performance of his Secretary David Manau and sack him for his incompetency in performance and serious fraudulent deals in the Department.
Otherwise, PMJM should sack both Kerenga Kua and David Manau for incompetency and ignorance.
